All businesses are charged a commercial solid waste fee for the availability of the Alleghany County Transfer Facility.
Fees vary based on upon the business type plus if the business utilizes a Dumpster service. New businesses are encouraged to complete the Solid Waste Business Registration Form 
. All fees are set using the adopted Alleghany County Solid Waste Fee Schedule which can be obtained in the Administration Office.
Bills are mailed usually by the 10th of each month for the preceding month and are due on the last day of the month.
Payments may be paid by mail to Post Office Box 366, Sparta, NC 28675, or in person at the Finance Office located in the lower level of the County Administration Building.
