When are the regular Commissioners’ meetings?
- The first Monday of the month at 6:00pm and third Monday of the month at 10:00am.
Where are the meetings held?
- In the Commissioners Meeting Room on the lower level of the County Administration Building, 348 South Main Street in Sparta.
How can I get on the agenda to speak at a Commissioners’ meeting?
- Call the County Manager’s office at 336-372-4179 before Noon on the Wednesday before the meeting.
Can I speak at a Commissioners’ meeting if I’m not on the agenda?
- At each regular meeting, there is a public comment section to allow citizens to speak at the meeting.
When and where are the agendas posted?
- At least 48 working hours before the meeting, the agendas are posted on the County Administration Building bulletin board. The agendas are also posted on our website under the link of Minutes & Agendas.
Where I can find minutes from the Board of Commissioners’ meetings?
- Minutes are available at the County Manager’s Office and Register of Deeds office. Minutes since July 2003 are available on our website.
